(The Prince squints at the audience. He sees her Stepsisters.)

PRINCE: They seem pretty happy.

CINDERELLA: They’re not.

PRINCE: They are laughing. They seem pretty... you know. Pretty, you know—

CINDERELLA: Right, but see. Their hearts aren't laughing. Just their eyebrows.

PRINCE: Huh.

CINDERELLA: If you’re really happy, there’s, like, a light that happens in your heart. And you glow, and you laugh with your whole body. I want them to be able to feel that.
And happy people are never cruel or mean. So that’d solve that problem.

PRINCE: Never?

CINDERELLA: Never. No one can be cruel with they’re truly happy. It’s impossible. What would you do if you could do anything.

PRINCE: I would ask you to dance.
